The short version: Scoops Up! has no ads, no accounts, and no sign-up, and it doesn't collect any data from the app. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, photos, or location. Your settings, progress, and an anonymous id all stay on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Scoops Up! (the "App"), published by Bust A Bully ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. It applies to the App on iPhone. By using the App you agree to this policy.
To let you keep playing where you left off, the App stores the following locally on your device (using the device's standard app storage): your sound/haptics and scooper preferences, your saved game (current level, score, streak, lives), and your best score and highest level reached. This data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the App.
To keep your progress, the App generates a random, anonymous device identifier and an anonymous player number, stored on your device. These are random values — they are not your name, email, Apple ID, phone number, or advertising ID, and they cannot be used to identify you personally.
The App keeps simple, anonymous gameplay stats — such as your best score, highest level, and current streak — on your device. This version of Scoops Up! does not transmit your gameplay data or identifiers off your device to us or anyone else, so no personal information is collected.
We do not use this information for advertising or to build a profile about you, and we don't collect it from your device.
Scoops Up! is designed to be safe and appropriate for children and families. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR "children" provisions, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children (or anyone), we do not require any personal details to play, and we do not show behavioral advertising or use third-party ad tracking. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We do not collect personal information, so there is nothing to sell or share — and we do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers. If a future version adds any anonymous analytics, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before it does.
You download Scoops Up! through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect its own information (for example, download and usage data) under Apple's Privacy Policy, which is separate from ours and outside our control.
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited, anonymous data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but because we don't collect personal information, the privacy risk to you is minimal.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a clear notice. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
